At Segun Hut (segunhut.online), we understand the importance of timely and reliable shipping. Our shipping policy is designed to ensure that your products are delivered to you quickly and in good condition.
We offer free standard shipping on all orders across India. Yes, you read that right – all orders are shipped free of charge!
We have partnered with reputable logistics and transport companies like Delhivery, DHL, and Gati to ensure that your orders are delivered promptly and efficiently.
Please note that our shipping timeline is as follows: if the product is in stock, we will dispatch it within 24 hours of confirming your order. However, if the product is out of stock, we may take up to 3-4 weeks to manufacture it, and then dispatch it. After dispatch, it will take approximately 4-5 days to arrive at your doorstep.
We will provide you with tracking information for your order once it has been shipped. You can track your order using our tracking information or by contacting our customer service team.
For heavy furniture items, we consider door delivery as Ground floor/premises delivery only. This means that our delivery personnel will deliver the items to the ground floor or the premises, but not inside the house. If you require upper floor delivery for these items, we will arrange it on an exceptional basis by taking a quote from the cargo company. In such cases, the charges for upper floor delivery will be mutually agreed between the cargo company and the buyer, and will be paid directly to the cargo person at the time of delivery. Please note that Segun Hut will not be liable for any damages or issues that may occur during attempted upper floor delivery, as this is not a part of our standard service.
Please note that we do not provide open package delivery at this moment. However, if upon receipt, you find that the package is damaged or torn, you must make a remark on the receiving copy to ensure that we are aware of the issue. This will help us to investigate and resolve any issues promptly.
Please note that our production timelines are subject to certain factors that may affect the delivery of your products. Our production time is typically 4-6 weeks, but please consider the following exceptions:
- We have holidays during various festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Durga Puja, which may fall within the production timeline. If your order is scheduled to be produced during these holidays, please note that our labour will be on a break, and we will not be able to fulfil your order as per the usual schedule.
- In the event of a natural calamity, such as a flood, earthquake, or other disaster, our production may be disrupted. In such cases, we will not consider any delays as a result of the calamity as a breach of our production timeline.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters. We will do our best to keep you updated on any changes to our production timelines and will notify you promptly if there are any issues.
Though it is Free shipping  to all the direct offices of the Road/Surface cargo companies whom we are working within India but in some areas where there is no direct offices of the cargo extra shipping will be charged. We will let you know the extra shipping cost if any so that you can make your mind for accepting or cancelling the order. In RARE cases NO delivery can be done to a NON Cargo branch area if the Road cargo is unable to arrange the delivery further from their nearest city branch office. Hence it is always wise to contact us for confirming the delivery station specifically for small district/towns or extreme areas with weak delivery channel from our city. Even if the buyer do not contact us pre-purchase we are always open for immediate refund if the delivery is not possible.
For example:- J&K except Jammu and North-East States of India have weak or no delivery channel by Road cargo from our city so kindly cross check with us about the possibility of delivery before making the purchase to avoid refund process.

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are updated and accurate before placing your order. If you provide incorrect or incomplete information, it may delay the shipment of your order. In such cases, we cannot be held responsible for any delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are up-to-date and accurate. We will not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
For our customers in West Bengal, we offer free assembly for our furniture products. However, for customers in other states, we regret to inform that we do not provide free assembly services. Instead, we will reimburse INR 300 per set to customers to arrange for easy self-assembly or local carpenter assembly through their own contacts.
- Open delivery is not provided so kindly check the packaging thoroughly and if you find the packing in torn condition than please make a remark on the receipt before accepting the damaged packing such as ‘Goods received with damaged packing’.
- After opening the package if the goods are also find in damaged condition than you need to inform us/email the picture of the damaged product to us within 2-3 days of receipt of the goods with order reference number at:-Â Â info@segunhut.online
We shall evaluate the extent of damage and let you know if this can be easily fixed locally (minor/moderate damages) and shall send the required material and also bear the reasonable local carpenter cost Or, this needs to be replaced/returned by us (major damages).
***Please save the packing material with you until we reach to an outcome, as Buyer have to take care for the repacking of goods (same/ equivalent) in case of replacement/refund by us. We do not reimburse for re-packing or provide re-packing staff, so saving the original packing is important to re-use. In exceptional cases if we are unable to provide replacement, we reserve the right to refund in full, after the product is picked up by cargo.
